Garden 2008—update on 2008 garden |

Raised beds made with fence boards available from Home Depot for $1.69 each. The ground was dug up and I added some additional soil with organic fertilizers. |

Solar powered Electric fence controller |

The garden for 2008 is expected to produce a large quantity of vegetables as long as the local varmints do not get access. The electric fence should protect the garden for this year. |

The raised platform has the pots from last year and will soon have all of the Earth Boxes. The small raised bed in the foreground is the apple orchard. I have also planted some additional strawberries around the trees. These are dwarf trees and will not grow more then ten feet tall. |
